Will is found at the entrance of Asura's room, mentioning that one day he'll be strong enough to defeat a Champion Monster like that.Boyarin, Daniel. In the deepest room of the chamber, the Champion Monster Asura can be found guarding a Sanctuary Token. Rhazes decides to join forces with the Monster Keepers instead of staying with the Alchemists, and sets up a shop in his alchemy workshop. Rhazes also mentions that the other Alchemists still have some flasks of his elixir, and that Marduk has some hidden plan to gather all the Spectral Familiars. If they defeat the current bloodline owner in a Keeper Duel, then the Spectral Familiar will be bound to the winner.

Familiars are bound to a bloodline, however the elixir allows the drinker to mask their own bloodline. They were the ones who developed the elixir that allowed Chymes to steal Will's Spectral Familiar. After fighting a Keeper Duel with them, they find that Rhazes only joined Marduk and the Alchemists to practice alchemy. In the lower chamber, the Hero finds the Alchemist Rhazes in his alchemy workshop. Once the Hero finds the remaining shard and fixes the Runestone, Will finds that the Runestone holds a rune spell, that once spoken, lowers the magma pool and allows for the Hero to continue deeper into the chamber. On closer examination, Will finds that the runes depict a poem of sorts, however it's unreadable without the remaining Runestone Shard. Along the upper chamber exists a Runestone with a portion removed.

When the Hero first enters the Magma Chamber, only the upper portion is accessible, due to the large magma pool blocking entrance into the deeper caverns.
